Our Journey

Established in 2023

Rooted Forestry was founded by a desire to produce a better product for the reforestation market at scale. For the past 30 years our industry has used the same old technology for growing seedlings with the same results. We wanted to be better at every aspect of production and seedling performance and won’t stop until we have. 

  • Our AirTrays are 100% post-consumer plastic and are 100% recyclable 
  • Our AirTrays have a longer life span than Styrofoam blocks and are easier to sanitize – reducing disease potential. 
  • We single seed sow our crops saving our customers tons of seed 
  • We produce more roots and fine feeder roots – increases field performance 
  • We produce a better root architecture for faster field establishment 
  • We do all of this while reducing labor and increasing our yields
